The Truth About The First One

I believe her because I was there.

But there’s always more to the story than just remembering the details and making it sound plausible. I don’t want to be telling stories out of Sunday School to non-believers, since nobody gets anything for lacking faith but the whole point comes down to this:

  • You can believe what you want
  • Telling the truth is the best idea (almost always)
  • If at first you don’t succeed, eat all evidence that you even tried
  • Then try again
Where did that Yankee’s cap go?
I thought I’d lost this picture from shuffling stuff around on four different computers. So next time you hear C telling fish stories, you might want to listen.

  1. Hmmm! I have vivid memories of both of those days! I got to catch the first BIG fish but you got the Happy Birthday America BIGGEST fish story the next year!
